This winter image was taken not far from Hilltown on the road to Spelga Dam, This is one of the last trees at the base of the mournes before the shelterless Mourne Mountains climb to their 850m peak.The Mountains were designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) by the DOE in 1986
